Terms of service

Last updated .

Before you publish: replace every [SQUARE BRACKET] below with your real details, and delete this box. These terms are a plain-language starting point written for a small free tool — they are not legal advice.

1. Who runs this

StartupScore is operated by [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY], based in [CITY, COUNTRY]. You can reach us at [YOUR@EMAIL]. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. What the service does

You describe a business idea. A language model produces a score and a written analysis covering demand, competition, unit economics, defensibility and risk. The output is a machine-generated opinion. It is not business, legal, financial or investment advice, and it is not a prediction that your idea will or won't work.

3. Accounts

You can run an analysis without an account. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has got into it. You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your country. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time by emailing us.

4. What it costs

Nothing. There are no plans, fees or payment details, anywhere. There are daily usage limits so that one person can't exhaust the service for everyone, and we may change those limits or the scope of the free service at any time.

5. Your ideas stay yours

You keep every right you had in the idea you submit. You give us permission to send it to our AI provider and store it so we can show you the analysis. Reports are private by default; a report only becomes readable by other people if you press Publish, and you can unpublish it again by asking us.

Please don't submit anyone else's confidential information, personal data about other people, or anything you're not allowed to share.

6. Fair use

Don't try to break the service, get round the rate limits, scrape it in bulk, or use it to produce anything unlawful. We can suspend accounts that do.

7. No warranty, and limits on liability

The service is provided "as is". Analyses can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, and figures in them may be estimates rather than facts. We are not liable for decisions you make based on them — do your own diligence before spending money. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be flagged on the site. We may stop offering the service, and you may stop using it, at any time.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY], and disputes go to the courts of [CITY, COUNTRY]. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not take away the protections of your own country's law.
